When a new faculty, staff, or student worker is hired a request must be made through the Directory tool for their W. P. Carey network permissions.  The tool performs several automated tasks as well, this is why sending an email saying “please give my new hire P:\ drive access” is not sufficient.

You must have the following information

    1. Info on the new hire including ASURITE ID, position, office location, a phone number, and role
    2. The ASURITE ID (not Affiliate ID) of a person that has/had the exact permissions the new hire will need.  Do not choose a person who has much broader access than is needed.  This can include past workers no longer employed

This request will be typically handled by each department’s Business Operations Manager or Department Technical Contact.  If you need assistance then please contact them.
