    Section 1 of 2: Macintosh

    ***NOTE*** The printer I.P. address, typically listed as 10.x.x.x (Ex: 10.8.65.6), is required before performing this process.  This information is located on a W. P. Carey branded sticker on the front of the printer. 

    1. Click the Apple menu

    2. Select System Preferences…

    3. Click Print and Scan

    4. Click the + icon

    5. Click IP

    6. Select HP Jetdirect – Socket in the Protocol drop-down

    7. Enter the IP address of the printer noted earlier

    8. Click Add

    9. The new printer will now appear in the printer list

    Section 2 of 2: Windows

    1. Click the Windows Pearl

    2. Enter \\wpcprint02.wpcarey.ad.asu.edu

    kb1102-2-2

    3. Enter asurite\ and your username

    Ex: asurite\jdoe1

    kb1102-2-3

    4. Enter your password

    ***NOTE***  You may checkmark Remember my credentials

    5. Click OK

    kb1102-2-5

    6. The list of printers on the network, that you have permission for, will appear. 

    Scroll down to find the printer you wish to use

    7. Double-click the printer

    8. The printer is now added and ready for selection in applications
