
Spending mindless hours on your smartphone? It may be time for a 'digital detox'
While the National Day of Unplugging only happens once a year, it's good to put down devices more often so we don't miss out on special moments of life.
There was a nationwide push to stop looking at screens for 24 hours. That happened on March 9 through 10 from sundown to sundown. Even though the event is over, the National Day of Unplugging website stresses that "we increasingly miss out on the important moments of our lives as we pass the hours with our noses buried in our devices."
