The faculty research we regularly feature in KnowIT is based on academic publications. The number and quality of academic publications is the measure of faculty research productivity, and is a major determinant of our department’s reputation. As a highly ranked research department, we track our publication productivity very closely. These new findings advance our field, and as the ideas move into practice, they help businesses operate more effectively and efficiently. At the same time, our faculty use their research to enrich the classroom experience. I would like to share some of the recent research successes of our faculty below. In some cases, we have provided online links where you can browse the full length manuscript. The abstracts, of course, are a good place to start.
