
Announcing the Online MSIM: First class meets January 2012
Work schedules, family obligations and often simple geography often combine to make it difficult for a professional to attend graduate school. Online programs enable students to work around these obstacles, and in recent years educators have learned how to transport the face-to-face classroom experience using a technology platform. Beginning in January 2012, the Department of Information Systems will offer its highly ranked Master of Science in Information Management degree -- the MSIM -- as an online offering. KnowIT sat down with department Chairman Michael Goul and Online MSIM faculty coordinator Robert St Louis to discuss the new program.
