The Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) program is transdisciplinary, meaning you’ll have access to industry experts from the W. P. Carey School of Business, Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts, and the Del E. Webb School of Construction.
Connecting with experts will not only impact the knowledge you gain in the MRED program but will also have a lasting effect on your career. You’ll build an incredible network of thought leaders in the field, which will broaden your understanding of development and the markets, giving you a distinct competitive advantage.
Mike Orr is just one of those experts.
Dubbed “the go-to housing guru” by The Wall Street Journal, Mike Orr is the director of the W. P. Carey Real Estate Center. Orr left the computer industry and California in 2002 to focus on Arizona real estate, going on to obtain an Arizona real estate license and start studying real estate statistics in 2005.
In 2008, Orr partnered with ARMLS and the Information Market LLC to create the Cromford Report, which provides daily real estate market insight for realtors and investors covering the Greater Phoenix residential market. As director of the Real Estate Center, Orr’s perspectives are heavily cited throughout the industry, most recently to calm fears of another housing bubble in Phoenix.
There are plenty of experts we’d love to introduce you to — get in touch and find out what else an MRED can do for you.
