Students share their take on remote learning during the COVID-19 crisis

W. P. Carey news talked with information systems students to find out their remote learning experiences and what they recommend to prepare for it again.

Fall 2020 at ASU is not the typical college experience that's full of socializing and interaction, and all instruction after Nov. 25 will be remote.

With November not too far around the corner, here are some practical and emotional strategies from students to start working on now before we go totally remote again.

Students — some of which are now alumni — share their challenges with remote learning and how they overcame them.

Take heart in the easiest aspects of remote learning, according to students.

Flexibility, quick to respond, understanding. These are some of the faculty traits students find most helpful for remote learning.

Here are some practical strategies to start working on now should we need to pivot last-minute to all remote learning, and before we do it all again after Nov. 25.
